About Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing
Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing was founded in Austin in 1976. First named Comfort Mechanical, the company focused on commercial HVAC construction at its inception. In the years since, Efficient has grown in both size and expertise. The team now handles a broad scope of work that includes residential and commercial service, commercial construction and custom sheet metal fabrication.
Molly and George Drazic purchased the company from its founders, another Austin family, in 2008. They rebranded it as Efficient to reflect their vision for the company. In 2014, they relocated the company from its original headquarters in East Austin to its current location in North Austin. The team now consists of an average of 80 full-time employees, most of whom work in the field throughout greater Austin in the following areas:
